National Night Out in Cornelius
Join us for an exciting and engaging community event this Tues, Aug 6th. There will be treats, activities, and you can meet the Chief of Police and possibly the Sheriff's posse, too!
This is the most popular summer event in Cornelius and marks the 19th year of our local City-Wide National Night Out.
Tuesday, August 6, 2024 from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at Harleman Park located at 795 S. Heather Street here in Cornelius.
Families from all across Cornelius can come out and visit with other citizens and employees that support your community, your local police officers, and firefighters.
National Night Out is designed to: (1) Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness; (2) Generate support for, and participation in, local anticrime efforts; (3) Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and (4) Send a message to criminals letting them know neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
