Staff and Volunteer Firefighters
Cornelius Fire Department consists of 6 staff members (3 shift officers and 3 shift firefighters) that work an A-B-C platoon schedule of 24 hour on/48 hour. They're supplemented in staffing by student volunteers and volunteers.
Under contract with the City of Forest Grove, the Fire Chief position is covered by Forest Grove Fire & Rescue Chief Jim Geering.
